Utility trenches are utilized in many industrial settings where electrical or plumbing needs to be run at ground level and access to the systems is still necessary. Typical utilities can include things such as electrical cables, hydraulic lines, compressed air, fuel systems, water supply, chemical piping, etc.
The trench system can be sealed and utilized as a secondary containment system. The trench body is typically constructed with polyester resin, however, vinyl ester or epoxy resins are offered for more severe chemical exposure.
Utility trenches are often found in laboratories, manufacturing plants, chemical process plants, water and waste water treatment facilities, aircraft hangars, automotive shops, car washes, etc.
