Utility Trenches

Utility trenches are utilized in many industrial settings where electrical or plumbing needs to be run at ground level and access to the systems is still necessary.  Typical utilities can include things such as electrical cables, hydraulic lines, compressed air, fuel systems, water supply, chemical piping, etc.

The trench system can be sealed and utilized as a secondary containment system.  The trench body is typically constructed with polyester resin, however, vinyl ester or epoxy resins are offered for more severe chemical exposure.

Utility trenches are often found in laboratories, manufacturing plants, chemical process plants, water and waste water treatment facilities, aircraft hangars, automotive shops, car washes, etc.

Dura-Trench manufactures utility trenches in widths starting at 4" wide and have created 48" wide utility trenches.  We can make any size that is needed.  We manufacture the complete layout including any turns and intersections.  Note that for applications with large pipes it is often necessary to make turns in 45 degree increments due to the large sweep on large diameter pipe fittings.

A wide assortment of grating options are offered for the Dura-Trench utility trench line.  The options include fabricated plates, iron castings, grating materials, recessed covers to accept finish floor tiles, etc.  There are too many options to list here, but please contact us to discuss your application.
