Product selection and specification is done through a series of 7 specification slots in which you fill in the trench material, slope, grate, frame, grate locking device, outlet, and sealant.  If all designations in the specification are properly filled in, the designer can ensure that the correct product is specified for a particular application.  At the top of the page is an Excel file that can be downloaded where each of the slots can be filled in and a written specification will be generated.

The first two numbers are the width of the grate.  The first letter is the grate style (ie. Slotted, bar grate, perforated, etc.)  The next two numbers are the length of the grate.  The next two letters designate the grate material.  The final letter (if applicable) designates the load class.
