Dura Trench forming systems come in many different types and styles, but they are essentially the same end result. There is a removable form that creates a concrete body trench drain. The system has an embedded frame that supports the grates and distributes the load into the surrounding concrete. The forming panels are offered in many different combinations of materials to make an economical trench form that will yield a smooth interior concrete channel. Typically the forming system is made of a combination of wood, EPS foam, and fiberglass. This combination makes the forms easy to work with and easy to deform while making them much more rigid and contractor friendly than other forming systems on the market.
The system comes fully assembled and labeled for easy field installation. The trenches are typically supplied in 8' lengths, but on large projects they can be supplied in longer lengths. Repetitive trenches on a single job can utilize our reusable forms for an economical solution to multiple trench runs with similar slopes.

Dura Trench forming system components are interchangeable with other system components. This means that the full line of grates and frames are available to fit this system. Frames are typically offered in black powder painted steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, fiberglass, cast iron, and aluminum. Grates are offered in multiple patterns from various materials such as cast iron, galvanized steel, stainless steel, fiberglass, plastic, etc.
