DuraTrench precast fiberglass trench systems were designed for durability and ease of installation. The system features an ultra-smooth fiberglass body that has flow rates superior to cast in place trenches. The 8' lengths make installation fast and help keep installations straight and true. DuraTrench comes pre-assembled with plywood in the top of the trench system. The plywood keeps concrete out of the trench during placement. It also gives the installer a place to attach installation bracing. The Dura-Trench system is offered in all common widths and any desired slope.
DuraTrench fiberglass system components are interchangeable with other system components. This means that the full line of grates and frames are available to fit this system. Frames are typically offered in black powder painted steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, fiberglass, and aluminum. Grates are offered in multiple patterns from various materials such as cast iron, galvanized steel, stainless steel, fiberglass, plastic, etc.
Dura-Trench systems offer any size outlet pipe for any size trench. The picture to the right shows a 4" wide trench body connecting to a 10" and 8" pipe. Simply specify what size and type pipe you are trying to connect with and we will make the proper connection for you.
The 4" wide trench drain is the work horse of the trench drain world. They are often times referred to as 6" wide trench drains due to the overall width of the system. These drains can take an amazing amount of flow for their size and handle the bulk of commercial and residential applications. The popularity of this size trench drain also comes from the relatively low price tag associated with a smaller drainage system. The 4" trench drain is generally used for flow rates up to 2 cfs.

The 18" wide trench drain is generally overkill for most applications. This size trench drain is typically used where very long runs are required and the flows accumulate in the range of 30 to 40 cfs. This size trench drain is also found in very steep cross slope applications, where pipes may also be running inside the trench drain, and areas where excessive sediment inside the trench may be a problem.
